Happy birthday Madame Nhu🥳🎉🎂 In 2007, Steve Jobs launched the iPhone, Google bought Youtube, Australia ratified the Kyoto protocol and Vietnamese food was still relatively unfamiliar to many Aussies. It was 15 years ago to the day that we opened our first store on Elizabeth St, Sydney to remedy this. Then called SummerRolls, we specialised in rice paper rolls, salads, banh mi and pho. You can say we were one of the pioneers of Vietnamese fast casuals. But we've evolved so much since then. Indeed, I believe one of the reasons for our success has been our constant drive to innovate and do things differently.
To celebrate our 15th birthday, we're kicking off our $15 all mains offer at our Crown St location and $1 soup cups at our Westfield branches. Please visit our website and subscribe for more upcoming promotions!
The photos here are throwbacks. Please note I don't own some of these photos - they're customer photos from the web so if it belongs to you let me know so I can credit. Who here remembers this location?
